Dangerous drugs are a complete and utter no-no for astral projection, and yes, I DO know that many people recommend experimentation with foreign substances to achieve Out of body experiences. The truth is that many of the drugs being recommended are not only illegal, but even the ones that are legal are dangerous, and can possibly lead to complications that you simply cant predict. Plus, and this is equally as important to me, you simply CANT tell what was a hallucination, versus what was really real, from the standpoint of your experience, if youve taken a foreign substance. I dont recommend it, and hope youll stick to the NATURAL paranormal path for your first OBE.

Honestly? There is something pretty amazing about projecting with a partner. Lots of the seminal explorers in OBE phenomena practiced in 2s, and even Robert Monroe (founder of the Monroe Institute and one of the modern pioneers in the exploration of consciousness) regularly got some of his BEST information while projecting with friends. It also, of course, can add a great layer of reliability to the authenticity of the experience…i.e., if youve BOTH seen something while out, its less likely it was a product of your imagination!

Binural beats and brain entrainment technology is a GREAT way to safely explore the ethereal realms, FAR faster than through simple meditative practice alone. In my personal journey, this has been an instrumental piece of the puzzle, and I rarely try to induce an OBE anymore without it. (plus it simply feels great to boot!)
The bottom line?
Astral travel is fundamentally safe, easy and tons of fun. But beginners can often face challenges that more experienced projectors do not… so by simply following simple tips like above, youre chances of having a safe, successful and SCINTILLATING experience goes up dramatically!
